# Audaxic Memory Guide

## Connection Check

If memory tools fail, ask user to run:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector --transport http --server-url https://memory-mcp.audaxic.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer ak_your_key_here"

## Behavioral Triggers

### AUTO-SEARCH before:
- Making architectural decisions
- Adding new dependencies
- Fixing bugs
- Starting new sessions

### AUTO-SAVE after:
- User states a preference
- Decision with rationale
- Complex bug fixed
- Conventions learned

### DO NOT save:
- Temporary state, debug info, secrets

## MCP Tools

- `add_memory`: Store (text, user_id?, metadata?)
- `search_memories`: Search (query, user_id?, limit?)
- `get_memories`: List (user_id?, limit?)
- `delete_memory`: Delete by IDs (memory_ids[])
- `delete_all_memories`: Delete all (user_id?)

## Best Practices

- One fact per memory
- Natural language
- Include reasoning
- Be specific
