# Audaxic Memory Guide
MCP server: `https://memory-mcp.audaxic.com/mcp`
## Connection Check
If memory tools fail with connection error, ask user to run:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector --transport http --server-url https://memory-mcp.audaxic.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer ak_your_key_here"
## Behavioral Triggers
### AUTO-SEARCH before:
- Making architectural decisions
- Adding new dependencies
- Fixing bugs (check for known issues)
- Starting new sessions (load user preferences)
### AUTO-SAVE after:
- User states a preference
- Making a decision with rationale
- Fixing a complex bug
- Learning project conventions
### DO NOT save:
- Temporary state, debug info, secrets
## MCP Tools
- `add_memory`: Store new memory (text, user_id?, metadata?)
- `search_memories`: Semantic search (query, user_id?, limit?)
- `get_memories`: List all (user_id?, limit?)
- `delete_memory`: Delete by IDs (memory_ids[])
- `delete_all_memories`: Delete all (user_id?)
## Best Practices
- One fact per memory
- Use natural language, not keywords
- Include reasoning, not just outcomes
- Be specific for better semantic matching
Setup:
mkdir -p .cursor/rules
# Create audaxic-memory.mdc with content above
Note: Cursor auto-discovers .cursor/rules/*.mdc files.
